"Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave." - Lord Henry Brougham 1778 - 1868
Who is a student? What is a school? What is learning? What is teaching?
Why do these thoughts keep pestering me? Why do more questions arise, the more I try to answer them?
Is a school a physical structure e.g. a building or is it abstract and any place where learning takes place?
Is a student one who learns or one who is taught? When does one stop being a student? When one completes an instititution or at the end of one's life cycle?
What is learning? Does learning take place when you have heard, when you can repeat or when you can do what has been taught? When does learning start? When does it stop?
Does teaching impart knowledge or education? Will a dropout without a certificate be referred to as educated or illiterate?
Can there be a school without students or students without a school? If there are no schools, does that mean there are no students and vice versa?
Are life experiences an education or is education a life of experiences? Does life teach lessons or are lessons taught about life? If life is a teacher, where are the classes conducted?
Who is a teacher? One who teaches subjects or one who teaches concepts? Who teaches the teacher?
Why are there too many questions? Where are the answers? Can we learn from questions? Does that mean we are also students?
