With all the gloom across the world over the pandemic, it came as a relief to me when I saw an article written by Owei Lakemfa, a human rights activist, journalist, author and former Secretary General of African Workers titled A New Humanity, A New World.
I do not deny that news of the real challenges faced and ways to stave of the scourge is bad. But especially for the frail, the realities of depression, frustration and fear might wreak more damage than the dreaded COVID 19!
Owei Lakemfa's article about how and why humanity is needed to kickstart the reassessment of how to be human to humans is a clarion call we must heed in order not to lose our way.
Please read the touching story of how help is rendered from an unexpected source to over 600 surprised, yet eternally grateful I strongly believe, beneficiaries.

Be safe, be kind, be human.
