These are interesting times for mankind.
Variously described as the Age of intelligence, Millenium of the Mind as well as the Century of the Brain, this period highlights astounding discoveries of the amazing power of the human brain. Recent breakthrough research in neurological sciences continue to push the envelope as to the realisation of our capabilities; constantly testing the limits, or absence thereof, of our mental acuity.
Why is this relevant? What has this got to do with you? Well, stick with me and I shall tell you.
You see, in this fast paced technology driven world of intermittent breakthroughs, innovations and inventions, new data and knowledge are being churned out at an ever increasing rate. While this is a good development for the advance of society, on the flip side this means knowledge is simultaneously getting obsolete at an alarming rate.
